TEACHING

The Institute of Cell Biology within the Faculty of Medicine provides higher education at several faculties of the University of Ljubljana: Faculty of Medicine (for students of Medicine and Dental medicine), Biotechnical faculty (for students of Microbiology), Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (for students of Biochemistry), Faculty of Pharmacy (for students of Laboratory Biomedicine and Cosmetic Science) and Faculty of Health Sciences (for students of Physiotherapy and Nursing).

We participate in Interdisciplinary Doctoral Programme in Biomedicine and Doctoral Study Programme in Biosciences. At Biomedicine, we coordinate research field Basic medicine, lecture at core course Medical Cell biology and elective courses Light and electron microscopy, Cell cultures in research studies and regenerative medicine, Detection and localisation of molecules in cells and Cryomethods for electron microscopy. At Biosciences, we lecture  on Dynamics of cell architecture, Correlative microscopy, Methods in live cell imaging and Special techniques of electron microscopy.
