In a research study published in Toxicology in vitro, we have developed an efficient and reproducible setup for the analysis of ciliary beat frequency in human nasal epithelium in vitro, which shows great potential for airway ciliotoxicity studies, such as the safety of new nasal spray formulations for human use.
