Research interests

  • cell-cell communication mediated by intercellular junctions, membrane nanotubes and extracellular vesicles in normal and cancer cells in vitro

  • protein and lipid analysis and dynamics of the plasma membrane in normal and cancer cells in vitro (junctional proteins, cholesterol-enriched domains, lectins)

  • cytotoxicity of agents with lipid affinity
